A dance in the rain

I still remember one rainy season at Patoor .There is a dirty drain at the furthermost end of the plot .As the rain become heavy , the water overflowed the drain ( hey don`t worry the drain was full of pure water then due to the  non stop rains  :-)  It started filling the land . The water started coming up ,covering the steps to the house . 

We as kids had a mast time then . No school . with a number of friends around ,wearing a petticoat ,our main hobby was to make boats and put it into sail . When there was no one watching us ,we used to walk on the water ,throwing ,splashing water at each other ...until someone catch us red handed :-)
