This is where our childhood dreams lie .....here I am cherishing every incident as it comes to my mind ...Enjoy !!!!

Vijaya Mandiram 

A  beautiful place to  live in . It holds  in it many  many stories ..the vast plot with coconut tress and cofee plants , Chundakka plant and many many weeds ....from tottavadi  to slate chedi .I remember the butterflies and the pakkis...yellow ,orange ...multicolored ones.......that was on one side of the house  .During Onam a swing used to be put up in those tress . On the other side of the house was the Pulinjika maram ,our favourite spot . Behind the house was the Guava plant ,bearing throughout the season plenty of big guavas 

The house was beautiful with a sitting room ,on both sides of the sitting room were two other rooms ,one  on the left ,which we used to call as Ambi chechi`s room .On the right was a narrow room ,which was the Pooja room . From the sitting room we enter another room , here we had two beds on either side ,which was used by my ammomma and one by us .From that room  to the left was acha amma`s bedroom ...instead of a toilet ,we had a Ovu muri  with a small window on the top. From the middle there was an outlet to the veradah outside .The verandah was small and outside the veradhah stood our favourite guava tree. On the right side of the middle room ,there was the dining space ,which holds 2 long desks and 2 benches .Food was served here . followed by the dining space came a kitchen ,work area and also a store room 

Pattor house was like community living ,because in the same compund lived many families together
